Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when He Shu Xun got free with Dante Lacasa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugurel Puișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, He Shu Xun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Mugurel Puișoru. Cavalerii Viola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cavalerii Viola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Facundo Cadaval to fire away a dangerous shot which Mugurel Puișoru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mugurel Puișoru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mugurel Puișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Puișoru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Puișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of play forced Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Mugurel Puișoru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Puișoru having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. The supporters of Cavalerii Viola booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mugurel Puișoru, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Shu Xun in the 59th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Mexico's Luca Rouco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luca Rouco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luca Rouco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
