The corner led SIMvergüenzas's Tarvo Hautaniemi to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Beto Rodríguez made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Sugih Linggawarman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Sugih Linggawarman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes, Sugih Linggawarman made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sugih Linggawarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Sugih Linggawarman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIMvergüenzas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Sugih Linggawarman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sugih Linggawarman in the 41st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Lei Ling Zheng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Cotilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SIMvergüenzas were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Ros made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Berganza however managed to control. In the 58th minute, one of SIMvergüenzas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SIMvergüenzas. Sugih Linggawarman might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sugih Linggawarman ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sugih Linggawarman in the 61st minute of the match. Jose Carita got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Berganza. After 76 played minutes SIMvergüenzas got a freekick which was hit by Tzvetomir Kitov. SIMvergüenzas made a substitution. Xacobo Harroyo replaced Sugih Linggawarman. The supporters of Panama booed when SIMvergüenzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzvetomir Kitov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacobo Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Panama booed when SIMvergüenzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Gregorczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 88th minute of play forced SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carles Morales hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jose Carita made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Berganza. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball.
