Ettore Puglielli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With 22 minutes on the clock, Emiliano Cavaliere commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 23 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Cavaliere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amerigo Cesarini made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Juventus F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fulvio Salerni hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ettore Puglielli. The goal made the score 0-4. After some careless play in the Juventus F.C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ettore Puglielli. The Juventus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ettore Puglielli should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Puglielli. Ettore Puglielli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ettore Puglielli made a huge save. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ettore Puglielli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ettore Puglielli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. A hard shot 82 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Ettore Puglielli managed to make a qualified save. Juventus F.C.'s players were relieved.
