The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Nötzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franz Nötzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Sergiu Socoriceanu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Eduino Ruiz's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduino Ruiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes C.D. Turleque got a freekick which was hit by Eduino Ruiz.
