Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gong Guang Yi went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Guang Yi in the 8th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Guang Yi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes in the game, Dawid Laskowski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Blue Masters's Jonas Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Dawid Laskowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Masters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dawid Laskowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Blue Masters getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dawid Laskowski hit a great ball. Jonas Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Cebula during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Cebula in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Masters's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Prestes came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Guang Yi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Matthew Garrido suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliks Winograd during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Blue Masters's Jonas Prestes got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Aleksander Kaczucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blue Masters made a substitution. Jim Liljeström replaced Dawid Laskowski. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Prestes having to interfere. Jonas Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 87th minute. Alex Cambeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Blue Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Cebula to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panama were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
