Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 陶斌斌 in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, 【CUFA】玄武俱乐部队's 莫天荣 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a 【CUFA】玄武俱乐部队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 32nd minute of the game 柳泉沙 made a throw-in which 鲁帆镇 played forward. If 王震烽 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 陶斌斌 came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the 【CUFA】玄武俱乐部队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 陶斌斌 couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 王震烽 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王震烽 in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 【CUFA】玄武俱乐部队's Tage Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 85th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 【CUFA】玄武俱乐部队 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
