In the 27thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Mintis Vilnius's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. 32 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's Tomas Danilevičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Mcdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zach Harrison to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Danilevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Cassius Byrne in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mustafa Kemal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Danilevičius's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Kemal having to interfere. USA's Jacob May got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Kemal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FK Mintis Vilnius's zone, Khalid Parry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Kemal came out of the goal and Khalid Parry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal got control of the ball when Marco Baker tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FK Mintis Vilnius had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
