Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Bierunese's Christiaan Schipper ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Kevin Arnolds lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Arnolds in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 14 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Bierunese players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bierunese's Donato Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Arnolds could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Arnolds in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Clementi. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Kevin Arnolds got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. After 26 minutes, Kevin Arnolds made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Bierunese's Kevin Arnolds. But to his dismay, Kevin Arnolds quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Kevin Arnolds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Bierunese's Christiaan Schipper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 45 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Arnolds. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Christiaan Schipper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christiaan Schipper really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Kevin Arnolds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Baldomiro Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bierunese's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Clementi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Kevin Arnolds had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Arnolds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Bierunese's Kevin Arnolds got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiaan Schipper hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Arnolds in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Arnolds scored 11-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiaan Schipper, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Kevin Arnolds who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Arnolds in the 86th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Baldomiro Clementi made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Bierunese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Arnolds didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiaan Schipper went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Bierunese's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
