Lennie Sutherland might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennie Sutherland ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennie Sutherland in the 3rd minute of the match. Danny Jumel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes Gloucester City AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gloucester City AFC's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gloucester City AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Danny Jumel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Carragher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Åke Petersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gloucester City AFC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Jumel came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Jumel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danny Jumel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Danny Jumel. Gloucester City AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Danny Jumel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 39th minute Wes Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Jumel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play forced Gloucester City AFC's goalkeeper Danny Jumel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Holt in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Sven-Åke Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gloucester City AFC's Danny Jumel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gloucester City AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luca Rouco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gloucester City AFC's Danny Jumel did a great save. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Danny Jumel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danny Jumel, 0-2. In the 72nd minute Gloucester City AFC were awarded a corner. Kristopher Le Saux went to the cornerflag to take it. After 73 played minutes Gloucester City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lennie Sutherland. Danny Jumel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Gloucester City AFC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Jumel. The Gloucester City AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Jumel should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Carragher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Luca Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Gloucester City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Jumel having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Jumel came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennie Sutherland in the 93rd minute of play. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
