Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lemi Çağa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rutger Magnusson made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Rutger Magnusson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After 88 minutes of play, Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee showed Luis Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
