Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tadeo Seguinus started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zeledon Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 5th minute. Zeledon Ilazki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Mela Banco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki managed to reach the ball for a save. Zeledon Ilazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Luis Andino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With a little luck, Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki got control of the ball when Primitivo Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Ilazki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustín Saelices showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 69 minute of play. Zeledon Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustín Saelices kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Ilazki. That made the score 0-12 in the 75 minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Zeledon Ilazki made a huge save. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Cristian Sancho sped through Sportivo Mela Banco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Ilazki, making the score, 0-14. 87 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Ilazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. Zeledon Ilazki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sportivo Mela Banco.
