Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napoleon Dzierwa in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Leonel Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FURIA FIEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 12th match minute, FURIA FIEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Simão to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Motta. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Aníbal Motta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Motta in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led to FURIA FIEL's Deivid Paulista getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Philip Boffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FURIA FIEL's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Philip Boffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knut Henriksson in the 40th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Aníbal Motta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FURIA FIEL's Knut Henriksson got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Aníbal Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FURIA FIEL's Philip Boffin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Motta in the 72nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Boffin. The goal made the score 3-1.
