Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, FURIA FIEL's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leopoldo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FURIA FIEL's Claudinho Cabral got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Kléber Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leopoldo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The FURIA FIEL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ademir Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FURIA FIEL's Leopoldo Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Macedo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FURIA FIEL's Leopoldo Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Macedo having to make a save. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Macedo having to make a save.
