Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fausto Montel got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Hagedorn succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 14th minute, Shi Yuan Qi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. Shi Yuan Qi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Shi Yuan Qi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Yuan Qi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. With a little luck, Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Fausto Montel made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rapid Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Olejarz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Shi Yuan Qi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Montel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rapid Wien made a substitution. Lars Reicher replaced Andreas Olejarz. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Rapid Wien from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Fausto Montel sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Rapid Wien's Timo-Fabian Wolf was substituted for Mirco Kähler. Alf Tempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Rapid Wien getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Shi Yuan Qi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rapid Wien's Shi Yuan Qi got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 minutes Rapid Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Alf Tempel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Timo-Fabian Wolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Rapid Wien's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
