Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andy Hendrickx kicked off to start the match. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Huijgens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes Blue Beast's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Huijgens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eddy Huijgens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eddy Huijgens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Beast's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Huijgens came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Blue Beast defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddy Huijgens. The Blue Beast fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddy Huijgens should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Eddy Huijgens made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Eddy Huijgens however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Beast's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Huijgens came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Andy Hendrickx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Beast's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Hendrickx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eddy Huijgens in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dany Bastin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Huijgens having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eddy Huijgens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eddy Huijgens in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Finlay Scholes got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Blue Beast got a freekick which was hit by Tjorven Caspers. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
