If Sanderson Cabeleira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jock Tare in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Kühlert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jock Tare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Kühlert was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Tănăsie in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jock Tare got free with Marcel Kühlert in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Sanderson Cabeleira put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Kühlert. A hard, long distance shot from Jock Tare flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Tănăsie could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Marcel Kühlert however easily saved by the left post. Big Saver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto de Brito in the 30th minute of the match. Marcel Kühlert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanderson Cabeleira in the 37th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Sanderson Cabeleira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Kühlert. Sanderson Cabeleira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jock Tare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Goiatuba E.C. defense, Sanderson Cabeleira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Kühlert. The Goiatuba E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Kühlert should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jock Tare sped through Goiatuba E.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Tănăsie, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marcel Kühlert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sanderson Cabeleira went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Goiatuba E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jock Tare came free, but Marcel Kühlert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Goiatuba E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Bartjan Pelsers's late challenge caught a -BZF- Barca de Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartjan Pelsers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Goiatuba E.C.'s Bartjan Pelsers got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Dênis Hermes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcel Kühlert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -BZF- Barca de Buzau reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. -BZF- Barca de Buzau fully deserved thier win.
