After 6 minutes of play, Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Jumel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francis Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Castillero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Chavez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Jumel having to make a save. Danny Jumel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Chavez in the 20th minute of the match. Flamengo de San Blás's Luis Castillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Petersson in the 26th minute of play. Luis Castillero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Carragher in the 29th minute of play. Danny Jumel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Lozano's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Flamengo de San Blás's Gheorghe Hagi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Danny Jumel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luis Castillero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristopher Le Saux's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Gloucester City AFC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Flamengo de San Blás's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kristopher Le Saux took the corner. Francis Holt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Lozano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Jumel was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiliam Lozano in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Jumel saved Gloucester City AFC from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiliam Lozano made a kick off. With his leg Danny Jumel managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wiliam Lozano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Danny Jumel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danny Jumel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Flamengo de San Blás's Luchito Briceño was substituted for Wiliam Lozano. 84 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Sutherland came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luchito Briceño might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danny Jumel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luchito Briceño ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luchito Briceño got free with Danny Jumel in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Carlos Mino in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flamengo de San Blás's Alexsandro Marquez. The Flamengo de San Blás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flamengo de San Blás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
