The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Bray McJon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bray McJon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bray McJon tried to chip the ball over his head. Bray McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Antequera in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Antequera. In the 87th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Blănaru to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
