Marno F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Cefero was slow to take the kick. During this time Marno F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marno F.C. the free kick. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Mónos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Zeledon Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marno F.C.'s Martin Bieito got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marno F.C. booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Zeledon Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Mónos came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Igor Jokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Igor Jokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Aldo Beltxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute Zeledon Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Aldo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. After 96 played minutes Marno F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Abilio. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marno F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
