KKS Konradek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Wierzbicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 19th minute of play forced KKS Konradek's goalkeeper Christian Macák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Curacao's Harvey Doyle to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Macák despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Curacao's Stanley Wallace sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Macák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Juszkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Florian Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
