In the 11th minute, Carmelo Hiriart reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Eduardo Lledias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Araoz Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Carmelo Hiriart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Reyes in the 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Hiriart in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 50th minute. Ceferino Reyes hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Tartalo Olabe took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 60th minute Eduardo Lledias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bienvenido Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Aranzabal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but extreme fc's Bienvenido Zapata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The extreme fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
