To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC LauB's Pascual Markel got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The FC LauB fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when FC LauB's Mario Mendez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Mendez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Mendez came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Xavier Zoido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Augusto da Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Mario Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a rather tough play, FC LauB's Mario Mendez got a free kick in the 80th minute. FC LauB's Ander Lepist was substituted for Pascual Markel. Mario Mendez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Oriche Rotges hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. FC LauB had played much better football throughout.
