After 2 minutes, Lorenzo Cazalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the ≮Empire≯〓圣光之翼〓皇家社会 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, 柳朗铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shi Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 叶森银 in the 13th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 叶森银's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Shi Peng sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Peng in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, ≮Empire≯〓圣光之翼〓皇家社会's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Alessio Carta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Alessio Carta made a huge save. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shi Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Shi Peng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessio Carta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alessio Carta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 60th minute of the match, Shi Peng got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 63 minutes into the match, ≮Empire≯〓圣光之翼〓皇家社会's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Alessio Carta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, 郝文钢 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮Empire≯〓圣光之翼〓皇家社会's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郝文钢 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessio Carta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 80th minute of play. Alessio Carta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessio Carta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alessio Carta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessio Carta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. ≮Empire≯〓圣光之翼〓皇家社会's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
