Sneaky sneeks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Algren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Hans Håkansson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Sneaky sneeks's Henry Holm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 27 minutes into the game, Henry Holm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sneaky sneeks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Venezuela's Guillermo Espina was substituted for Guillermo Mariano. In the 29th match minute, Sneaky sneeks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Holm to maneuver through the defense. In the 31stth minute of the game Henry Holm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Chicote lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Aaron Algren walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Henry Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Lindsten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Espina in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sneaky sneeks's Elof Sandell. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martin Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Holm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 58th minute of play forced Sneaky sneeks's goalkeeper Martin Lindsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Håkansson had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 67 in the game by Henry Holm from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Henry Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sneaky sneeks's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Holm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Håkansson in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes in the game Gösta Flinck did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hans Håkansson. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hans Håkansson sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Arne Larsson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Sneaky sneeks got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Larsson. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sneaky sneeks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sneaky sneeks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sneaky sneeks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
