With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Olgaç in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. KÖKEZSPOR's Necaettin Yoruç quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Naim Bakkalbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KÖKEZSPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
