Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agam Wiriadipura ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ayat Sungkawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ayat Sungkawa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Ayat Sungkawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ayat Sungkawa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 30th minute of play forced Jakarta Wolf SC's goalkeeper Ayat Sungkawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Jakarta Wolf SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The corner led Chile's Gerardo Pozo to fire away a dangerous shot which Ayat Sungkawa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ayat Sungkawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Jakarta Wolf SC's Wiliam Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Wiliam Porto took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Chile booed when Jakarta Wolf SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Syahrul Pattinasarani didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiliam Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Syahrul Pattinasarani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 played minutes Jakarta Wolf SC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Feo. Anibal Feo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chile booed when Jakarta Wolf SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayat Sungkawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Wiliam Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Wiliam Porto made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Flavinho Barros fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jakarta Wolf SC's protests and gave Flavinho Barros a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
