Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Leonard Chirculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Virgil Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Leonard Chirculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Chirculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Moura. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodor Romeo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgil Olariu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Olariu. Virgil Olariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Chirculescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Leonard Chirculescu made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Unai Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Miralles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Olariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Virgil Olariu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgil Olariu came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidoro Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgil Olariu. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When Vasile Enciulescu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Vasile Enciulescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Vasile Enciulescu got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Abraham Alguacil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonard Chirculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Virgil Olariu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leonard Chirculescu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens. The Paralia Athens fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
