Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zach Harrison to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 3rd minute of play forced GOMERASPOR's goalkeeper Nils Krüger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tahir Hallaç came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the GOMERASPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahir Hallaç couldn't finish the play. Nils Krüger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute of the match GOMERASPOR got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eren Özkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 12th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ahmet Korcan Tolga sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nils Krüger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GOMERASPOR's Nils Krüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Vladimir Frid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Vladimir Frid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, GOMERASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Nils Krüger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Krüger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahir Hallaç in the 41st minute of play. Nils Krüger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Korcan Tolga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahir Hallaç in the 58th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nils Krüger made a huge save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korcan Tolga in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Krüger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, USA's Sam Campbell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GOMERASPOR's goalkeeper Nils Krüger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, GOMERASPOR's Nils Krüger got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahir Hallaç in the 88th minute of play. GOMERASPOR's Nils Krüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Baker got free with Nils Krüger in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA played a much better game than GOMERASPOR and deserved their victory. The GOMERASPOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
