After some careless play in the USA defense, Eddy Worrall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jacob May. Cafer Demirsah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play forced Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s goalkeeper Cafer Demirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafer Demirsah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Monty Rogers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Josep Miquelarena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. 3-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Monty Rogers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cafer Demirsah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Cafer Demirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Tetiker. Eddy Worralls short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Marco Day to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cafer Demirsah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 67th minute of the match. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cafer Demirsah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Jenson Smith was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cafer Demirsah in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Halim Tetiker sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Cafer Demirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
