Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Swiderski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With his leg Dino Zoff managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Furgat in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Paolo-César Maldini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Patryk Witkowski sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 30 minutes of play, 11ABRASIL's Antonio Swiderski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyryl Zecman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Mateusz Fafinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a 11ABRASIL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 11ABRASIL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Though ot was a great shot Venezuela's keeper Jonathan Ferrant was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play forced 11ABRASIL's goalkeeper Dino Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over 11ABRASIL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
