In the 7th minute, USA's Cassius Byrne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Matuch came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Mcdonald slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 13th minute. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 41st minute of the match. In the 51st match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mcdonald to maneuver through the defense. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Covaci in the 56th minute of play. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes SV Bad Harzburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Monty Rogers who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Silvestre Loi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Marco Day when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvestre Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Matuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khalid Parry went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Takeshi Bieberstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
