Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Hao Fan Yong scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-0. Hao Fan Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Man Fish came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hao Fan Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Quintela took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tilea in the 36th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Quintela. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Tilea went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Angelo Quintela succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 47th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Maxim Tilea made the kick off in the second half. Maxim Tilea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tilea in the 57th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tilea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Mai Shu Yang. But to his dismay, Mai Shu Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Tilea, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Quintela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Mikael Häll got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Man Fish skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Angelo Quintela in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panama's Miguel Miralles. Man Fish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 85th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Shu Yang in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Tilea in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Shu Yang in the 94th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
