In the 12th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ender Tanacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Matusiak in the 15th minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ender Tanacan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Mateusz Matusiak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateusz Matusiak slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when 1461 Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ender Tanacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ender Tanacan having to make a save. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
