Milagros Cabal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! In the 14th match minute, Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Moarcăș to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Brezoi. Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Nichifor Simuţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Nichifor Simuţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s zone, Moises Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Simuţ came out of the goal and Moises Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Silvano Kusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Silvano Kusko tried to chip the ball over his head. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Kusko got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Basarab Tutuianu to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Eugen Moarcăș threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Villa to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Moarcăș kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Nicolae Avacariței fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s protests and gave Nicolae Avacariței a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Avacariței didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Kusko struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugen Moarcăș, made in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Eugen Moarcăș threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's attentive Emanuel Ocampo managed to snatch the ball when Eugen Moarcăș made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. After 86 minutes, Emanuel Semeghin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Emanuel Semeghin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Eugen Moarcăș with Silvano Kusko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
