Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Silvano Kusko notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axel Tasis scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nichifor Simuţ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 15 minutes, Bogdan Petruț mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bogdan Petruț hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17th play minutes Silvano Kusko shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 20th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Tutuianu in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM-'s Nicolae Avacariței got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Petruț kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nichifor Simuţ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aaron Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Petruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Moarcăș charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Moarcăș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugen Moarcăș hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Petru Lupșe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nichifor Simuţ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Silvano Kusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Ocna Sugatag -MM- and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card.
