Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gijs ter Averst, 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gijs ter Averst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cristian Sancho in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gijs ter Averst, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Egbert Robbermond hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gijs ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Revenge defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gijs ter Averst. The Revenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gijs ter Averst should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Tim Daelemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Gijs ter Averst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gijs ter Averst was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rick Theisens made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Tim Daelemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 60 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gijs ter Averst was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijs ter Averst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gijs ter Averst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Revenge defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gijs ter Averst. The Revenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gijs ter Averst should have stopped the shot. Revenge's Gijs ter Averst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Gijs ter Averst. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Martien Degenkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Gerjan Scheerhoorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijs ter Averst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gijs ter Averst was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gijs ter Averst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
