After some careless play in the Gala defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertha Prasadha. The Gala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertha Prasadha should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bertha Prasadha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertha Prasadha having to make a save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. The Gala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Sedef Mehmet made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertha Prasadha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bertha Prasadha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jajang Sianipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gala's Sedef Mehmet got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Gala's Bertha Prasadha got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bertha Prasadha made a huge save. Bertha Prasadha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 70thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Bertha Prasadha would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With a little luck, Gala's Bertha Prasadha got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bertha Prasadha came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bertha Prasadha. The goal made the score 0-7. Bertha Prasadha came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Bertha Prasadha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zulkarnaen Rusandi during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Gala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
