Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tạ Bom came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tạ Bom couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Damas having to interfere. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute. Rui Sá took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The nice shot from Cristiano Cigaran in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Julio Vera had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vítor Damas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Damas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Sá to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Sá in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rui Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Esquadrão Lusitano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas managed to reach the ball for a save. Rui Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Rui Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vítor Damas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After some careless play in the Esquadrão Lusitano defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Damas. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Damas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Derman Anoia hit a great ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
