One of Royal Knights FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. In the 38th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Salvador Gisbert made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Royal Knights FC's Cristo Cordara managed to reach the ball for a save. After 40 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Royal Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off.
