Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rui Sá started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá. But to his dismay, Rui Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Cigaran in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Filomeno Esiquio got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Rui Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 40th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Esquadrão Lusitano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Valdo Passos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Cigaran in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Esquadrão Lusitano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Damas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute of the match, Cristiano Cigaran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Cigaran got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Conrado Abalos hit a great ball. Rui Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes Esquadrão Lusitano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas managed to reach the ball for a save. After 73 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Esquadrão Lusitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. When Filomeno Esiquio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquadrão Lusitano's protests and gave Filomeno Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Filomeno Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Cigaran in the 87th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tạ Bom was slow to take the kick. During this time Esquadrão Lusitano's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Damas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cristiano Cigaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esquadrão Lusitano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
