In the 6th minute, one of Cosa nostra Lyon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cosa nostra Lyon. Venezuelas' Clem Fath just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 7thth minute after Tomas Illescass penalty, and stop a certain goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwann Patrice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Erwann Patrice made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Erwann Patrice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Quintana in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Ménet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwann Patrice, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Erwann Patrice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwann Patrice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes, Cosa nostra Lyon's Félicien Boidin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cosa nostra Lyon reached it. In the 35th minute, Erwann Patrice ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Willy Hautefeuille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Willy Hautefeuille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félicien Boidin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Willy Hautefeuille recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erwann Patrice came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 78th minute, Erwann Patrice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Erwann Patrice sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Erwann Patrice ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwann Patrice went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Dinaras Stanaitis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosa nostra Lyon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dinaras Stanaitis hit a great ball. Félicien Boidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Cosa nostra Lyon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
