Sixto Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFTER GYM FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 41 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Fiori Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fiori Mandrak hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sixto Lorenz made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by AFTER GYM FC's Dalibor Seman. But to his dismay, Dalibor Seman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Antonio Arias lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ovidiu Acatincăi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. AFTER GYM FC's Robert Rutkowski was substituted for Sixto Lorenz. AFTER GYM FC's Antonio Sergi was substituted for Ragnar Wingaard. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. AFTER GYM FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eustaquio Bazkoare in the 72nd minute. Melquiades Chumo made a great header on AFTER GYM FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Rutkowski in the 74th minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Robert Rutkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Rutkowski in the 86th minute of the match. Ovidiu Acatincăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Robert Rutkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
