Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Yu Feng Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Panaiteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Panaiteanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner. Mugur Timofte went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mugur Timofte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Yu Feng Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Timo Thorstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpathian Wolves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 27 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugur Timofte who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mugur Timofte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Avram Panaiteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungheanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Carpathian Wolves's Avram Panaiteanu in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Feng Xi in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Yu Feng Xi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olimpiu Hârlău was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Avram Panaiteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After having played for 83 minutes, Timo Thorstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Hârlău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Carpathian Wolves players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
