Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 4th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Battal Seyyit Torcan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After 8 minutes, Bengt-Arne Bäckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kranji Crunchy and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Kranji Crunchy got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Bäckman. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gofar Pohan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gofar Pohan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gofar Pohan got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gofar Pohan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gofar Pohan's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aras Sophian saved Kranji Crunchy from getting behind. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kranji Crunchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bule Amin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gofar Pohan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Gofar Pohan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gofar Pohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kranji Crunchy the free kick. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gofar Pohan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gofar Pohan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Kranji Crunchy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Gofar Pohan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gofar Pohan might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gofar Pohan ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gofar Pohan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gofar Pohan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Gofar Pohan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 69 minutes, Gofar Pohan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aras Sophian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gofar Pohan in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adit Syamsuddn kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Battal Seyyit Torcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Kranji Crunchy's Gofar Pohan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kranji Crunchy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dian Hatala came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kranji Crunchy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
