If Yu Feng Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olimpiu Hârlău. The goal made the score 1-0. Olimpiu Hârlău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Chile booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Trăistaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Yu Feng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Yu Feng Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mihnea Ionițoiu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Yu Feng Xi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Hârlău having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olimpiu Hârlău narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Timo Thorstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Hârlău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Philip Rosendal. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Hârlău having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Henry Eklund. In the 97th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carpathian Wolves had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
