Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Altay Mengübay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 80th minute, Enginalp Beykan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 93rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Enginalp Beykan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC fully deserved thier win.
