Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Fábio Figueiras took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Coelho saved Nascente do Leça from getting behind. After 18 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Fábio Figueiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The Nascente do Leça fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Nascente do Leça's Fábio Figueiras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's Almiro Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th play minute Almiro Peixoto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 3-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Figueiras in the 32nd minute of play. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a Nascente do Leça's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Figueiras might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Figueiras ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Figueiras to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Almiro Peixoto scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almiro Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Fábio Figueiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Figueiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Figueiras in the 68th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Figueiras struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nascente do Leça. In the 77th minute, Basílio Póvoas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Figueiras might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Figueiras ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Fábio Figueiras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Figueiras in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nascente do Leça's Basílio Póvoas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee ended the match the Nascente do Leça players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
