Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Nantwich's Reynaldo Estebe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frazer Fordham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Estebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Reynaldo Estebe scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Frazer Fordham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Hanot was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. 39 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Hanot. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. 林悦傲 struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nantwich. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 林悦傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Penha was slow to take the kick. During this time Nantwich's players had a chance to rest. Nantwich's Miguel Penha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Luis Andino took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Hanot. Enrique Hanot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Estebe in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Estebe in the 65th minute. Enrique Hanot came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 75th minute, Örjan Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Reynaldo Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Enrique Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Enrique Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Penha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
