Panama were furious when Aaron Barrios was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Martelli couldn't finish the play.
