The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Monty Rogers hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 14th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Brzakala came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 20th minute. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Marco Day was a little too slow when Hugon Brzakala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Edward Mcdonald took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Peter. Natalio Peter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 36th minute. Maciej Matela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Natalio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Dong Yuan Feng was substituted for Hugon Brzakala. Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Wincenty Walczak replaced Maciej Matela. The wind increased when Dong Yuan Feng made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dong Yuan Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Bradley made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Adam Chazon. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Yuan Feng in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Natalio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Yuan Feng in the 70th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Harrison in the 72nd minute of the match. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. With an all-out effort, USA's Natalio Peter threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Natalio Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Diego Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. 96 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Natalio Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Khalid Parry. In the 97th minute Diego Bradley suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Wincenty Walczak fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gocław Wilga Warszawa's protests and gave Wincenty Walczak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th minute, Wincenty Walczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
